Casa Merlo - Rates and Booking Details

• The above rates are per week; daily rates are on a pro rata basis

• Easter and Christmas will be charged at the High Season rate of £590 or €786

• Please note that unfortunately due to the location of Le Ginestre it is not ideal for wheelchair users and not suitable for toddlers under 3 years due to the open stairs and layout of the garden

• Please note that no pets or smoking are allowed in the house at any time

• Casa Merlo is also available for long-term rentals; please contact us to discuss the rates

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

Mode of payment- 30% at time of booking by transfer to our bank account and the balance 3 weeks prior to the date of arrival.

Damages - a refundable deposit of £200 or €250 must be made with the final instalment.

Cancellations - we would recommend you take out cancellation insurance as we will charge you 25% should you cancel up to 6 weeks before arrival, 35% up to 3 weeks and 95% within the last 3 weeks.

Occupancy - we have a flexible policy regarding handover days to allow our guests to take full advantage of the cheaper mid-week airfares.

Arrival/Departure - our normal arrival time is 3.00pm and departure time at 10.00am. However we will do our utmost to accommodate your request to arrive earlier or depart later whenever possible as long as it does not impact our other guests. Please let us know at the time of confirming your booking or discuss departure times with the house manager during your stay.

Rental rates include - bed linen, towels, cleaning before and after your arrival, electricity, gas, central heating, logs and water. Should additional cleaning or linen be required during your stay please arrange independently with the house manager.

Directions - We will send you a full and detailed description of the route and how to collect the key once we have received your final payment.

Provisions/shopping service - The house is stocked with basic foodstuffs i.e. pasta, tea, coffee, tinned tomatoes, tuna, herbs etc to allow guests arriving late to make a basic meal. We also provide a complimentary welcome pack but we also offer a shopping service prior to arrival for fresh foodstuffs for a small fee. Should you wish us to collect shopping for your arrival please send us a list of the items you would like collected for you. Please be aware though that fresh foods are mainly local and only available in season.
